Privacy policy
Updated 2026-10-10
This policy explains what data Take Me There (vistahop.com, shown as VistaHop on the Google sign-in screen) collects, how we use it and how you can delete it.
Without signing in
The places you add to your trip and your language choice are kept only in your own browser's local storage (localStorage) and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
When you sign in with Google
Signing in is only used to sync your trip across devices. Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We store your account (email, Google account ID, name and picture) and your trip (the places you added and when). We never ask for access to your Google contacts, email, files or any other data.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or give it to advertisers.
- We don't use analytics, show ads or set tracking cookies.
Services that run the site
- Supabase stores accounts and trips, on servers in the eastern United States.
- Google provides sign-in.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and logs visitors' IP addresses for security.
- Apple serves the map in the hotel panel on the home page.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve fonts and the sign-in script.
Each of these services handles the data it receives, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
Hotel links
The booking links in the hotel panel are Trip.com affiliate links. Once you are on Trip.com, Trip.com's privacy policy applies to what you do there.
How long we keep data and how to delete it
Your account and trip are kept until you ask us to delete them; signing out does not delete them. To delete them, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with and we will delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
