Liziba Station

Line 2 runs straight through a residential block. Watch trains pull in from the viewing deck below.

Yangtze Cableway

Yangtze Cableway

A cable car over the Yangtze from the Yuzhong peninsula to the south bank, river below, towers on both sides.

Usually 8:30–22:00 (7:30–22:30 over National Day 2026).
Tickets & booking
¥30 one way, ¥50 return. Tickets go on sale two days ahead on the official WeChat account (from 7:45 on weekdays). Whether online booking takes passports: not yet tested.
Getting there
Metro Line 1 to Xiaoshizi, then about two minutes on foot.

Ciqikou Old Town

Ciqikou Old Town

An old river town on the Jialing, its flagstone lanes lined with teahouses and snack stalls.

Entering the town is free; a few sights such as Baolun Temple charge ¥5.
Getting there
Metro Line 1 to Ciqikou.

Wulong Natural Bridges

Wulong Natural Bridges

Three natural stone arches span a karst gorge. The old post house on the valley floor has appeared on film.

8:30–16:30 in peak season, 9:00–16:00 in low season.
Tickets & booking
Three Natural Bridges ¥125 Nov–Feb and ¥155 the rest of the year, including the ¥40 park shuttle and ¥45 Tianlong spiral lift. Booking online with a passport: not yet tested.
Getting there
Train from Chongqing North to Wulong, taxi to the Xiannü Town visitor center, then the tourist bus to the bridges, about 40 minutes.

Tips

Yangtze Cableway tickets go on sale two days ahead on its WeChat account. Hongyadong lights up from about 18:00. Wulong is about 120 km from downtown in a straight line, so give it a full day.
